Mark Freeman

Mark Freeman is an accomplished Workers Compensation attorney with over 35 years of experience representing clients in workers compensation matters.  His extensive experience includes appearances at conferences, hearings, and before the Workers Compensation Court of Appeals, as well as the Supreme Courts of both Minnesota and South Dakota. Mark's high level of expertise is recognized by his peers, as evidenced by his AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a Superb rating on Avvo. In the past, Mark has spent time representing Employers and Insurers.  He understands how insurers think when handling cases, which has given him insight in how to achieve the best results for his clients.  Currently, Mark holds the position of co-chair of the MNAJ (Minnesota Association for Justice) workers' compensation committee.

Mark is a proud graduate of Sibley High School, the University of Michigan and William Mitchel College of law. He was born and raised in Minnesota and has a deep appreciation for the state, and all it has to offer.  He is an enthusiastic sports fan and supports his Minnesota sports teams as well as his Michigan Wolverines.  Mark also enjoys spending time with his family.  He is married with 3 children and a son-in-law.  He is also fortunate to have two living parents in their 90s.  He has a cat and a dog, which his family adopted from the Minnesota Humane Society.  He is committed to finding a balanced lifestyle as evidenced by his practice of yoga through his wife’s yoga studio in St. Louis Park.
